In the Catering Department we start by teaching students the essential skills they need to cook simple, nutritious, affordable food. We make it relevant to modern-day life, using ingredients that are readily available in your average supermarket. We encourage creative thinking and the students are able to express themselves in the dishes they create.

As the students progress, they can study GCSE Hospitality and Catering, the specification offers a unique opportunity for candidates to develop their knowledge and extend their skills within hospitality and catering in a vocational context. It will offer valuable preparation for those entering the world of work.
