Job Purpose:

As the ‘face’ of the Academy you will provide a welcoming and well organised front of house service.  Additionally you will provide quality administrative support to the Admin and Finance Officer, Assistant Principal and Academy team to assist with the smooth and efficient running of the Academy

Psychological Therapist

Salary: £47,544 - £56,240 (FTE)

Job Purpose:

Due to increased demand for the therapeutic service an opportunity has arisen to appoint an experienced professional who is able to provide a range of support to students, families and staff.

We welcome interest from clinical psychologists, systemic/family psychotherapists, child & adolescent psychotherapists or other associated disciplines who have experience of working with young people, their families and related systems.  The roles will be primarily direct work, consultation, training (individual/group) and supervision.

The post holder will be based within Stephenson Academy and will be expected to travel across Milton Keynes, therefore access to their own vehicle is essential.

Clinical supervision and appropriate time for CPD will be provided.

The post involves working with young people who have Education and Health Care Plans for Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH) or, who are at risk from exclusion from mainstream education due to their behaviour.  Many of these young people have been involved with other agencies at some point in their history, e.g. CAMHS, Children Social Care, whilst some were discharged due to non-engagement or their presentation may not meet local service criteria.

This is a chance to be creative in your practice in engaging these young people and their families in working with you and other agencies when appropriate.

 Job purpose:

This post will support with general repairs to buildings and facilities, to include painting and decorating, minor repairs and maintenance tasks.  In particular, the post will oversee a small team of cleaners, whilst assisting with cleaning duties as required.
